Or rather than you don't think Asami is capable of loving him/ it's not a pairing that makes sense? I've sorta figured that practicality in yaoi love relationships is out the window. Romanticizing your rapist is like sexual Stockholm Syndrome, but it's a well-established pattern in fandom, so I swallowed the Asami/Takaba love hook, line, and sinker, the minute Akihito hid behind Asami's back when Fei shot at him. And I knew it was reciprocated when Asami carried Akihito to bed after screwing him on the counter. But I know better than to think that makes the remotest sense. ^_^;;
