halp?

Has anyone stayed in a convenient yet not insanely expensive hotel in Shinjuku? That isn't a dump. And convenient as in very close to the station and places to obtain food. Any recs? I've stayed at the Keio Plaza before and found it very nice and pretty convenient, but am seeing if I can find a decent hotel that may be cheaper. Found some candidates online but it's always nice to hear testimonials from (probably) real people.
