Kurashina Sensei's Passion by Shino Natsuho

Shiritsu Shouei Gakuen Danshi Koutoubu Kurashina Sensei no Junan (Kurashina Sensei's Passion) by Shino Natsuho is a fairly superficial student life BL manga centered around Kurashina Reiji, the new teacher at his alma mater and advisor to the student executive committee. It may be superficial, but I enjoyed reading both volumes (downloaded the raws here) and will definitely be buying them in the future. According to amazon.com, the first volume will be released in English next year. I like the art, and love the fact that Kurashina brings his cat to school (and that his cat is named "Matsumoto-san!" I mean, WTF?). I love that the cat is kind of freaky looking and is draped over people in unnatural ways. It's just a fun, silly series.





Kurashina: I've really come back...Say, Matsumoto-san...

Students: What was that?...

As can be seen from the very beginning, Kurashina is a fun mix of awkward aggressiveness and clumsy kindness. Asano turns out to be the head of the executive committee that Kurashina ends up becoming the advisor to. He makes me want to pet him. They both do. ^^
