i also watch darker than black, i haven't finish the series yet but i think you should give it another try...it's true that the main character doesn't show much emotion but i think there is a reason for it that is why iam still watching it...i think the people who contract a power loss their feeling or something because not only him but many characters who has the power in the show acted very selfishly.
