more unit vanilla stuff
I checked out the Unit Vanilla website to see what their new projects were about and saw a pretty detailed announcement on the CD dramas. I didn't realize different voice actors were playing the lovers in each story!

I know some of these guys really well, of course, but a lot of them are unknowns. Either I've never seen the shows in which they played important roles in (like a bunch are in Gundam 00?) or I've seen the shows they were in so long ago that I don't remember the voices from it (like Vandread). I already knew about Fukuyama Jun and Konishi playing the modern Japan versions and was already looking forward to it. While I know Koyasu would play the part very well, I wish he wasn't cast. I just have a total aversion to him in serious roles (thanks to Weiss Kreuz and angst overload). I can totally see Morikawa and Miki in those roles. XD Midorikawa as Ricardo just...kills me. I know he can play earnest, but still...*snorts*
I'm still peeved about the whole "special CD and booklet" offer that I can't get. :P I just know I'll end up paying a scary amount of it at auction one of these days...
In any case, the first book of their 3rd project, Arthur's Guardian: Garasu no Kishi (Glass Knight) is already out! It'll be four books, each written by a different author, coming out four months in a row. I read the blurb and don't really understand it. A Japanese college student studying in Paris is flying back to Japan with some guy sent by his dad, but he wakes up in some remote mansion. The "Arthur's Guardians" is a group of specialists carrying out the will of dead rich dude Arthur Blackford. Not sure how this is connected to college student. Or hot gay sex.
The sad thing is that the artist for this series is Hasukawa Ai...Not one of my favorites. :P
The 2nd project, called "Bara to raion" (Rose and lion), seems to be a manga. It's running in Rutile (ルチル) and it's drawn by Yamada Sakurako!! (I love her!) First chapter was in vol 24 (it came out in May) and I can't find any information on the actual story....*sighs* I guess I'll have to wait to get a clue when the tankobon comes out.
