i'm already excited about next friday!

Of course I downloaded this week's episode, just to see if they were getting back to Takano/Ritsu next week. I assumed they would since I don't think they spend more than 2 consecutive episodes on the other couples. I skipped to the end and was happy to see that they were! I'm already excited for next week!

On kinda meh news, Junjou Mistake is being animated? I'm not against this, I just want more Junjou Romantica anime and this would push any third season further into the future. It's going to be episode 6 of SIH, which sucks SO HARD. More Takano/Ritsu please! I'll definitely check out JM to see if I'll like the dynamics of the relationship despite what I've heard. Also in anime news, apparently Hakkenden will be animated? I'll be happy only if the art isn't crappy and the animation doesn't totally suck. That is a series that needs pretty good special effects! If they use the same voice actors as the drama CD I'll be a little sad because I didn't think Paku Romi worked as Shino.

The newest VF chapter made me laugh. How does Asami overcome Takaba locking his door? Use a gun with a silencer! So much more efficient and less work than breaking the door down! This series has become so fluffy I laugh reading every new chapter.

I don't even know who Ryan Gosling is, but he's pretty awesome when he's Feminist Ryan Gosling.

I heard Junjou Mistake is going to be aired as an episode of Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi. =/ I really hope that's not actually true. Mistake was okay, but I don't like it enough to want it taking screen time from Takano and Ritsu! I want to see the animated versions of Ritsu's rejection of An-chan and Takano telling Yokozawa he's in love with Ritsu, at least...

Ugh, don't get AT ALL why they're doing Mistake as part of SIH. :/ Besides taking away from this story (though, if it means one less Chiaki episode, that would be nice...? <--wishful thinking), this sort of kills the idea that they're doing a third season of Junjou, which I was really hopeful about.

(Though, if they did do a third season of Junjou, the Terrorist fans would probably riot, because there's not a lot of new material to make episodes for them.)

Wow, Hakkenden's going to be animated? I wonder if that's why they've been re-releasing the manga, to gear up hype for the anime? I did wonder why they were re-releasing the manga when it wasn't even finished and had been put on hiatus. I do thinking it's a pretty good choice for anime though, since I think it's a series that can appeal to both genders. There's action and Hamaji for the fanboys and the BL overtones are subtle enough that it won't scare them away. :p (Wait, then again I remember the guy-who-looks-like-Takara's-dad [sorry it's been awhile since I read the manga, I've totally forgotten his name!] who is totally shota-con for Shino... ok I take back the "BL overtones are subtle enough". LOL!)
