Junjou Romantica is becoming...a TV show??? I would've thought this series would be an OVA rather than something shown on TV...

That was my reaction, too. There's an article in Newtype Romance that has an interview with the director, who says: 原作のカップリングごとのシーンは放送できるギリギリのところまでは見せたいと思っています。

...I am REALLY curious to see how far that is, especially considering other BL TV series have barely even had any kissing.

Whatever the director says I think they are going to tone those scenes down quite a bit, and that's just not right. :P

Well, when I heard that it was going to be on TV, I figured they'd have to cut the sex out entirely, so...if they can actually get away with just toning it down, that's an improvement in my book.

What I really want to know about is the cast, actually. How long are they going to torture us with 未定? :(
