it's spring already?

I got to make a naturally dyed easter egg at the natural food store today! You tightly tie leaves to a raw egg using a piece of nylon mesh, then boil it in water colored with onion skin. Mine is the one on the left....er...the other left. XD I love the gradations in color and the delicate patterns on them. XD List of homemade Natural Easter Egg Dyes! I only vaguely remember making brightly colored eggs using those commercially available kits and using those eggs in easter egg hunts as a child...Wow, it's been a while. ^^;

While the weather doesn't change from season to season much here, just the fact that Easter is approaching makes it feel like spring somehow.

not sure why that person thinks shamrock shakes are gone. the mcd's in my area had them last week.

I'd never even heard of Shamrock Shakes before, so I didn't know the truth of the claim...

Huh! We dye easter eggs with onion skin every year, and then sometimes (if we can be bothered to do it *g*) make patterns by scraping the dye off, which takes hours... this idea is so simple! And the results look awesome! :) Will have to try it next year :) thanks for the tip :)
