giving thanks (and fangirling)

Because it is Thanksgiving here, I wanted to share a very appropriate quote I saw the other day:
"When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the morning light, for your life and strength. Give thanks for your food, and the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies with yourself."

At least I can be thankful for silly anime. ^_^ Just saw KKM 65 and 66...
GADS those were pretty worthless, if still totally fun, episodes. I died laughing watching 65. WTF were those Wolfram/Yuuri and Conrad/Yozak moments? I love Wolfram being an angsty bishonen as he is in the throes of delusion, almost assaulting Yuuri in the cave. And the Conrad/Yozak trust thing and the long looks they share. *laughs* Yes, I'm very much a ConYuu shipper, but I can still cackle at screaming in your face fanservice. I can imagine the fangirls of those ships just squeeing themselves to death. But I still have to ask why that core group like to walk around the castle together all the time. Don't they have things to do? Like...run a country? Also, seems like people have given up telling Yuuri that he, as king, shouldn't waste his time going on dangerous adventures for inconsequential things like a lowly maid.
I did like how once again Yuuri's purity (or simplicity) is emphasized. Whenever that comes up I can't help but think of Julia. ^_^
Episode 66 was pretty worthless, in my opinion. The story was particularly weak, and the monster was...lame. The part I did like was Shori calling Bob asking about why Yuuri wasn't back immediately. XD I like that Wolfram is so secure that he has no problems with wearing silly frilly aprons. And of course, the wedding dress thing was hilarious. Especially the I wonder who it's for? comment.
I wonder when the next serious arc will truly kick in? I assume there will be one...
I need to go pick up the novels again. This long weekend is the perfect time to.
