Whistle! is really sweet and fun. I've been getting the manga as VIZ puts it out and its excellence shines through even the VIZ-ification.
I've watched the Dear Boys anime twice now but haven't been able to get hold of the manga, which makes me sad. I really loved the show and of course it stops before the manga does.
I've really been enjoying H2, the manga more than the live action. The focus is a lot more on the romantic relationships than most sports series and of course Adachi handles it deftly.
And of course, Slam Dunk is love. My favourite sports series of all, even including Prince of Tennis. I just wish the fandom were still more active.
