omg a real day off!

I love not having to do anything. ^____^ I need more days like this.

In any case, more Mirage rambling. This time it truly ended up being a ramble. :P I don't feel like organizing so I'm just posting as is. I've been writing it on and off for the last couple of days but haven't had the time to post. :P

I have no idea how I stumbled on these gems of writing, but it must have been via someone on my flist. I lost track of how I got to them, but the important thing is that I got to them. Ah, lovely Hikago fics! The joy!

Sam Shindo, Private Five by tsukikoushi is a witty AU that was...just fun to read. Come on, Hikaru as a go-shoe, Touya Koyo as the head of the Family (you know what that means), Akira as a femme fatale, and go as an illicit addiction? XD It must be read!

Inertia parts 1, 2, and 3 by rageprufrock is a het! Akira that is...hard to explain. It was at times amusing, silly, and extremely sad. Hikaru really sparkles in this one, which of course pleases me (Hikaru RABU!). It just plain kicks ass.

rageprufrock is writing a fascinating series of AUs called 19 (x19) Things That Never Happened. So far there are six, and my favorite is 2. "In more traditional news, Yumi-chan is happy to report that Igo-idol, Shindou Hikaru turns seventeen next Thursday! And to celebrate, Shindou-san will be playing Touya Akira (rival, or more??) in the first game of the Meijin elimination matches that afternoon--lets send our best wishes to both these bright stars!! Go for it, Shindou-san!" A female!Hikaru (aka Hikako) fic that was just plain wonderful, making up for the female!Hikaru-ness. *_*

rageprufrock is also writing extremely smutty OgaHika pr0n that is...um...yeah... ^_^; Read them and find out: The Relative Value of Things, or, Shindou Was Probably Too Young to Drink, Anyway, Game, and Set.
