I was a good girl and watched only one episode of KKM today...trying to conserve what I have. So instead I started looking at Japanese fanfic sites. Have come across a couple of pretty nice fanart sites. Still haven't come across a fanfic site that wowed me. I guess it'll be hours of going through site after site (gads, what a time suck a new fandom can be). conradxyuuri but fled seeing posts of summaries of the novels. I must resist! I will read them myself, sans spoilers! I was excited to see that there were 14 novels out, and that they have absolutely lovely illustrations. ^__^ As I was checking it out at amazon japan I noticed a drama CD, Kyou wa ma no tsuku saishuu heiki!. Has anyone heard it? Is it any good? The reviews on amazon japan makes it sound really great...
In any case, I fear the long list of things I will be buying in Japan is getting longer and longer every day. And here I though, I went back in June, how much would I really want in just three months? TONS. My list so far:
1. Kyou Kara Maou novels
2. Kyou Kara Maou doujinshi (the Yuuri/Wolfram thing dominating English fandom just makes me want to go get some good old Konrad/Yuuri...)
3. Mirage of Blaze doujinshi (I want more wacky AUs. I reallly like the ones I got.)
4. Yoshinaga Fumi manga, as much as I can find.
5. More Kano Shiuko manga! I always reread her manga when I want something brainless (though I'm not too sure about P.B.B. Is that any good?).
6. SILVER DIAMOND VOLUME 6 DAMNIT
7. My usual PoT and Hikago doujinshi
8. Yukikaze doujinshi! Didn't find on last trip, hope to find some this time! OVA 5 was only so gay...people must have been inspired...
And that's just off the top of my head right now. :P
Speaking of Kano Shiuko, I have to say I really didn't give Kawaige (Maybe I'm your stepping stone) a chance. I only saw the chapters with that side chara from Namaiki and that wuss uke of his. I really like the seme, but the uke just...repels me utterly. I can't believe how much I hate even seeing his face. I only read the chapters with the other couple, Nakano and Mejiro. They make me laugh and laugh. I actually bothered to read the afterward, and boy am I glad I did. Continuation of the series! Yay! I just hope it's not about frickin annoying wuss uke, because I'll be very very disappointed (to say the least).
I need to translate something. I wonder where all the scans of things I was supposed to be working on went to? They've been scattered to the four winds....
