prillalar is just....wow. It's an amazing TezuRyo fic that just... Gah. Tezuka, you are just too...too...!!!!!

Okay, it's been a while since a fanfic has been able to just make me that excited. ^_^ What a great heart-stopping moment, because lately I've been on a not very fruitful fanfic search. Still looking for some awesome Japanese ConYuu. Been very hard. When I thought I found a decent Conrad monologue that was just the right amount of angst and wistfulness and a bit of resignation (isn't that just so Conrad?), I hit a great milestone. My first truly crappy ConYuu fic! And it's not any crappy fic, but one where Conrad angsts excessively and pointlessly, for CHAPTERS AND CHAPTERS. There's also amnesia, which creates EVEN MORE ANGST. It gave me flashbacks to the tons of crappy FujiRyo fics I waded through way back when. You know, the ones where Fuji is some angsting pining sighing crying-inside emo kid. Insert Conrad for Fuji and you have this fic. GAH.
So in order to switch gears I started checking out the new sites on the TezuRyo webring. Haven't come across one that blew me away yet, but I got to experience that in English. XDXD
And because work is (as always) driving me nuts, I started rereading fics from my favorite psycho Akira fanfic site. Ah...I love my psycho Akira. Unfortunately, this person can't do a decent Hikaru characterization to save her life (way too passive and victim-like), but her Akira...He's so obsessed, and confused, and awkward, and does everything oh-so-wrong and in the most extreme manner ever. And is utterly psycho, and violent. *cackles* Unfortunately, I think it's going to end "happily." :P
I really want to scan some very nice TezuRyo doujinshi covers, but first I have to find the driver for my scanner, as well as the install discs for Photoshop Elements. *sighs* I hate having to start from scratch all over again. Mendokusai. Damn hard drive failure. >_<
I can't believe I've listened to "Arigato" by BON'Z 10 times in a row, and am still listening to it. I don't know why I'm obsessing so badly over this....
