the crack!

The one-shot Koi no Sekken Hour by Kotobuki Tarako is being posted on [livejournal.com profile] yaoi_daily by [livejournal.com profile] oiyaoi. XDXD Ah, the crack!! I mean, this poor boy has soap incarnated (which he calls the "soap monster") bumming at his house, harassing him. I love how the soap dude chops himself up to make soap, then drinks sodium hydroxide to regenerate. My favorite frame is on p213 where the soap guy is right behind the boy, saying that he'll lead him to the garden of pleasure (the bathroom)...fufufu. XDXD

And from [livejournal.com profile] bastmoon, an imagined future Meine Liebe episode that is hilarious even if you don't know anything about the show (like me). The melodrama of TEA is too overwhelming!

While browsing through Amazon Japan for books to buy, I came across the rather old Ai no Kusabi side story Midnight Illusion, which is about Riki in his younger days. Even though I was totally not impressed with the OVA or the main novels, I kind of want to read this to find out more about Guy and Riki as they are way more interesting to me than...um...what's his name. Iason?

I was also slightly tempted by Jounetsu by Gotoh Shinobu and Takaku Shoko, which is being released in English as Passion. I've heard some good and some bad things about it, but...do I want to pay the full new manga price for it?

I can't help but want the next book in any of the series I'm currently following (sono yubi!!!!). So what if they've all published this year already? Surely they can write faster!?

Though what I'd really like more Mirage prequel. Is she not writing any more? ;_;

Or all the things I come upon on random blog skimming...it's really hard finding good, interesting random blogs, isn't it?

A little post in a random blog I was skimming through made me laugh as I shook my head in disbelief. Thank you CNN, for giving already internationally-challenged Americans an incorrect map of a major country. I loved the comment, "We'll ignore the word 'France' floating over in Poland, hoping that this was just the title of the map, not where CNN thinks part of France is located." Keep hoping. *snorts*

The Beastie Boys have a capella tracks for download to make your own remixes...how cool is that?

Best healthcare ad ever. Probably.

No clue if these are real things conductors have said, but they sure are funny.

Had (too much?) fun with a very simple word look-up site, WordNet.

Little children and tampons and mother's panic. XDXD
