lazy lazy LAZY sundays are heavenly
Apr. 23rd, 2006 08:28 pmWow,
asophodel has completed her translation of the first Mirage of Blaze novel. I have to give her kudos, because Kuwabara-sensei is not the easiest person to translate.
Speaking of translation, I noticed via flist that the translation of the Only the Ring Finger Knows novel is out. Is it on sale at regular bookstores? I'm curious as to how it came out (as it is still one my favorite BL series XDXD).
And onto the SGA:
Ardhanarishvara by Auburn and Mona continue to be amazing, and I just can't believe how serious it is, and how it tackles issues so head on (while avoiding the annoying moralistic or preachy tone some fics that try for serious can get). Part Nine was just posted today, hard on the heels of Seven and Eight (links for earlier chapters provided in each post). I wish all of my favorite WIPs were updated so quickly...
I just spent kind of a long time reading Unsaid by
arsenicjade, a fairly long Sheppard/Dex fic that seems pretty closely tied to the show. Didn't know a lot of the context, but it was still a cool read. I loved the author building both John and Ronon's backgrounds, bringing in very strong Rodney and Teyla, and how they come together.

stop is a D/S McKay/Sheppard fic that had a lot of background and framing of the situation and plain old good character interaction going for it to make up for the D/S (not a kink I'm really into).
What It Gives by chelle is one of those John and Rodney met before Antarctica stories (and kind of fell in love), which I am a sucker for in general. This one was nice...It left me feeling warm and fuzzy.

rivier is one of those Rodney POV mind moving at blinding speed even during sex (except when it shorts out) fics. Love his multi-tasking abilities. XD
