Erg, people seriously need to learn to cut posts with big images in comms. It is so damn annoying seeing the thing reload every time I refresh, and makes the page look disproportionate. Thankfully I don't have a customized layout that gets majorly screwed by stuff like that.

In any case, small announcement: After accumulating a decent sized batch of fics I read and wanted to write about in the last day, I've decided to go with the separate ficdump LJ route. So my fic "recs" will henceforth be posted in mountainonfire. I suppose I'll post all fic recs over there (except the extra super shiny ones, which I will probably squeal about here as well). Right now it'll probably stay all SGA, with new stuff almost every day...Unless people stop posting good fic daily. (I really hope that doesn't happen anytime soon)

I think I've really sunk into major icon envy. I always had a twinge because I have no talent for that kind of thing and I'm too lazy to try, but there are so many amazingly wonderful SGA icons floating around. I broke down and took (with credit, of course) a very nice John icon (fluffy hair!) for mountainonfire, but now I kind of want to go looking for a nice Rodney one.
