I love rec journals when they really come through. First from tomomichi:
Oooh...I was happy to see an untitled S/C fic by knowing_shadows, the author of Fusion. It's smutty in the best possible way. My personal view of Sephiroth is that he wouldn't necessarily talk dirty (but as I have little canon knowledge I have nothing to back that idea up ^^;), but I can forgive anything because I rarely truly like fics simply for the hot sex.

And a KKM cosplayer doing a karaoke video of Atobe's Valentine's Kiss? Bizarre.

thefourthvine recced 19 (x19) Things That Never Happened, pt 2 by Pru, the wonderful Hikago AU I hadn't read in forever. Of course I immediately reread it. I love how plausible this AU is. (Doesn't hurt that the AU is followed by Ogata/Hikaru smut XD)

Pretty novel illustrations by Asato Eiri posted on yaoi_daily here. The English title of the novel is The Father is the Vampire's Bride, but I like the ring of the Japanese title Shinpu wa yoru no hanayome (The Father is the Bride of the Night). I wonder if the story is any good?

the ouran post

The fruits of wandering randomly around LJ: Arcana/1+2=3 by one_if_by_land, a wonderful twins/Haruhi fic that is mostly about the relationship between the twins.

More random wandering led me to an author, namistai8, who did a bunch of fics that provided nice peeks into various characters' minds (in the context of a pairing with Haruhi):

I stopped looking after that because I'm just not interested enough in fanfics to wade through the crap.

Thanks to an uncomfortable situation I was incapable of working for a while, so instead I surfed for fanart:

Shizuku (A mainly twins-centric site, I don't necessarily care for all their pics but I do like a couple: pretty coloring and a simple pic of their backs)
Rakugaki (Supposedly a Kyoya/Tamaki site, but it seems to have everyone represented. Pretty stuff!)
never ever green host0-bu!! (Not too fond of the pics, but I like the Pinky Street stuff, particularly the Tamaki)
poppo (Pretty pics overall, but this one made me laugh)

I like not really having an OTP or an anti-OTP. It lets me look at any picture and admire it for its prettiness. ^^;

It's really annoying me that I'm missing some episodes still. I really do need to fix my bittorent settings because I just can't find direct downloads of some of them. *sighs*

the anime this time

Saw some eps I hadn't gotten around to watching yet. I had planned on holding off until I actually had consecutive eps, but i figured that given the episodic nature of the show it wouldn't matter. Man, this show rocks. The costumes! I love the little caption thingies that add that little bit more, too.
