What a way to start the day--Found out that we had run out of Earl Grey. Made do with genmai, but it's not a good substitute! ;_;

I listened two cd dramas that just weren't very good. For one of them it was because of the casting--I could not get used to the voices they had casted. The uke was waaay too high-pitched and the seme was such a predictable choice it wasn't even funny. And there wasn't any chemistry between the two voices, which made it feel like two random seiyuu walked into two separate rooms and started recording. The other one failed because it lost all the little nuances in the narrative that made the novel compelling. It came off so flat and silly in the drama. *sighs*
