I had some of the most divine hand-made tofu at an izakaya-like place this weekend. One was cold with a brothy dipping sauce (which was odd as it was not shoyu-based but it was still very tasty) and one was hot with ponzu. I just boggle at the whole "tofu sucks" idea still so prevelant in popular culture. Those people just haven't had tofu done right.

Catcam Fritz is a collection of pictures taken by a camera hung around a cat's neck. The concept is so cool and some of the pics are very pretty.

Post linking tons of uses for baking powder makes me want to go buy some right now.

(An old) Colin Firth interview on Fresh Air: Though I am not a fan of the BBC's Pride and Prejudice, hearing him talking about trying on the made-up underwear for his pond scene (underwear was not worn back then) and how if he had worn that instead he'd never have been a heartthrob was funny.
