Ryu to Ryu by Kizuki Jin and illustrated by Akira Norikazu is nothing special, and at first I dismissed it. But it grew on me. It's a total mishmash of BL conventions and cliches and has no sparkle of originality, but the art is nice and the characters are pleasant. The uke has a backbone but isn't totally stupid and ridiculously headstrong! The seme isn't a bastard! And is very eco-conscious! Instead of a normal summary, I'm going to do a checklist of cliches:
-Tattooed yakuza
-Earnest young man trying his hardest to raise his ADORABLE little brother and kind of failing
-Young man who doesn't realize just how attractive he is
-A bunch of host club stuff, but the big one is the bullying
-Really cute interactions between the yakuza and little brother
-"You take care of your brother and I'll take care of you"
