I have to agree with you about G Neko - I was a little disappointed. The thing that bothered me with the art in this volume was that there's so many squinty eyed expressions in there! One or two make a nice impact and separately they're all quite expressive, but the sheer volume of them makes it like a series of photographs with people with their eyes half-closed. The art overall is still beautiful though; I love the exaggerated clothing folds, and textures. (the knit pattern on Riya's coat! <3)
Story wise, the pacing feels very different from the first two; definitely feels like a rush to just get it finished ;_;. And agreement on the ending - it didn't have enough impact/development to make it satisfying.
....I enjoyed it while I read it though. But it just ends like very ordinary BL, (albeit with beau---tiful art) whereas the first two volumes suggested a different story ;_;.
