Yeah, those completely crackpot episodes provide support for all sorts of bizarre and random pairings so I can't take them seriously. ^_^;
It's really easy to take one or two aspects of a character and emphasise them to point of distortion. But it's true that in the end characterisation is in the eye of the beholder and when it comes to personal preference no amount of discussion or argument will change anyone's mind. I still wish I could comprehend the whole TezuFuji deal though. :P
Oh, that manga you talked about with the complete role-reversal was hilarious. Sounds like something I'd like to read. XD
*laughs* To think that the whole reason I moved to JFandom in the first place was because it seemed no one liked Ryouma uke pairings. It got kinda lonely so it's great to find like-minded company. ^_^ (Now if only I had time to read everything that's out there...)
