yaoi in shoujo

I had come across a very nice site with information on various manga including Loveless (which is how I found it). I was randomly looking around on the site when I read for the manga Gekka no Kimi by Shimaki Ako the sentence describing the main character caught my attention: "He’s got a strange problem: each time a woman approaches him, his hands violently shake. Because of this, he avoids women..." The first thing that popped into my yaoi-filled mind was "...and goes out with men." But alas, this is a shoujo shoujo series and the summary goes on to talk about a girl he bumps into. It's odd how shoujo series can set up such high yaoi potential and studiously avoid any yaoi at all. Like Fruitsbasket. While I don't slash that series at all, I find it odd that there's no mention of any of them being gay. *shrugs*

All kidding aside, the manga actually looks pretty interesting. The art looks very nice...reminds me of Watase Yuu, and I love manga that can incorporate classics...I wonder if it's any good?

Episode 12

I can't believe how long it took to upload episode 11. It was supposedly uploading for two days before I gave up and started over again. Then it "only" took a day. :P Episode 12 was much faster. One more to go!

BTW, I got my amazon japan order! It came really fast this time, but I still haven't had the time to fully check out all the goodies that came. This time it was almost all manga...ah, all the pretty pictures...
