A quick post to pimp my newest CD: Yo-Yo Ma Plays Morricone. I heard it on NPR one day, and was completely captivated. I had to own it. I had no idea that Morricone is a very prolific film score composer, of great talent. I just melt every time I hear the arrangement of two pieces from the film "The Mission" (never heard of it, but I have a feeling I must own the soundtrack). The cello solo just makes me melt. Hope it does the same for everyone else:
The Mission
The rest of the album is wonderful as well. It helps make life a little bit more bearable.
I am incredibly unhappy that I can't pick up HP6 tonight. This is when I must scream "DAMN WORK TO HELL!" I don't want to go into work bright and early tomorrow morning. I should be up all night reading to my heart's content like I did the last two books...
