Quote of two days ago: "For every complex problem, there is a solution that is simple, neat, and wrong." by HL Mencken

I read an article which started off (oh-so appropriately) with this quote. It's so true, isn't it?

Word of the day: cryptomnesia

I was listening to "On the Media" on the radio today, and this word came up in connection with the infamous novel Lolita by Vladmir Nobakov (it can be listened to here).

For all that I'm a (rabid) fangirl, this kind of thing kinda scares me...

There are tons of really intruiging FSTs being posted on [livejournal.com profile] fst this month...downloaded quite a bit, looking forward to listening to them (eventually). XD

I like that quote, especially the "wrong" bit.

Oh, that's a handy word - it's deja vu in reverse!

I was gonna say they were riffing off the fangirls but realised it may well be the other way round. XD;

The FST comm is tempting but I have enough problems handling my music habit as it is. ;__;
