Ayu and translator angst

I have to admit, I am of two minds when it comes to Hamasaki Ayumi. On the one hand I don't think she's a particularly good singer, and her videos (at least the ones I've been subjected to) have been horrendous. On the other, her songs have attracted very excellent mixers, producing some fabulous remixes. This is all intro into one of the songs I am currently addicted to (in spite of myself). I heard this song a lot in stores in Japan and kind of liked it, but only bought it due to a mix-up with a friend. After having been stuck with the single and having heard it some more, I really like it:
Fairyland (Original Mix)
There is one remix of this song on the single, but it wasn't very impressive. So instead I dug up one of the remixes I thought was quite good. An oldie but goodie:
Endless Sorrow (A Aggressive Mix)
I am currently trying to clear my queue of long-promised translations for scanlations, and have gotten through several ones that gave me some trouble. I am now doing one that isn't so hard, except that I can't remember how I translated certain things in earlier chapters and the scans, my trans, the raws, and my copies of the volumes are all scattered to the four corners ofthe earth my house. The digital stuff got scattered (and I suspect is hiding on a DVD that is...currently temporarily misplaced ^_^;) when my HD died, and my manga is just lost in the sea of manga and doujinshi. *sighs*
