I really hate lovely web layouts that are impossible to read/navigate. Please, 8 point grey text on black can only cause eyestrain. And extremely busy backgrounds only get in the way of reading. Really. *sighs*

Some of the comms really are plagued by annoying first time posting leeches. GAH. Make them go away, please. I especially hate it when they are extremely apologetic or cute or something. If you're so sorry don't post! But I suppose they are marginally better than the demanding ones....Get a clue. You are entitled to nothing! Especially when they are illegal things like scans/scanlations/media.

I'd forgotten that being out in the sun without sunscreen is a bad idea. I'm not burned, but my skin is tingling and it's not a good feeling. Thank goodness for aloe.

I had coffee from Mighty Bean & Tea Leaf the other day and was delighted at how much better it was than Starbucks (though...that's not saying much, at least for me). Why can't all chain coffee places be at least that good? I heard Pete's is marginally better, and kind of want to try it. Too bad we don't have any of those here.

I need to find a really good brand of Earl Grey. I haven't been impressed by the ones I've been trying lately.

I got a free copy of Tax Cut in the mail. OH GOD, TAXES.

Your second paragraph... you have no idea how it pains me too. I'm at the Nitta Youka's comm for the latest Haru chapters while waiting for next volume to be published in Japan...

I'm so tired of reading those "I so love Nitta Youka's stuff, please give me everything free NOW so I don't have to give her a cent while I still pretend to be a great fan of hers"...GAH!

Usually I just ignore those posts, but they've been quite common lately. *sighs* And even in YD, people now seem to expect zips of the stuff being posted...they should be happy people are bothering to post in the first place.

Yeah... I'm not sure sharing zips at Y_D was ever a good idea... it's now like expected by any and all and instead of working at getting either the files or right-clicking the images and save them themselves WE should be doing the work for them.

As a result I'm not sharing anything outside my own LJ anymore (since it's Flocked by default now)... The greed got to me.

Yeah, I can totally relate. I am such a leecher, but at least I'm not an audacious demanding one. You give the masses a bone and they want the whole carcass...which makes people not want to give anything...*sighs*
