I got to make a naturally dyed easter egg at the natural food store today! You tightly tie leaves to a raw egg using a piece of nylon mesh, then boil it in water colored with onion skin. Mine is the one on the left....er...the other left. XD I love the gradations in color and the delicate patterns on them. XD List of homemade Natural Easter Egg Dyes! And more really stunning naturally dyed eggs.

I only vaguely remember making brightly colored eggs using those commercially available kits and using those eggs in easter egg hunts as a child...Wow, it's been a while. ^^;

While the weather doesn't change from season to season much here, just the fact that Easter is approaching makes it feel like spring somehow.
