[AkiHika Doujinshi] Kai by Rakuengun Part 1

Damn Hikago is on my brain thanks to the flist blind_go mania and my finishing up of the doujinshi organization and discovering a full extra box of Hikago stuff. I found an extra copy of an Akihika doujinshi I rather like. I decided (in a fit of late night madness) to scan it and share. It turned out to be fairly long and it took forever to scan (or at least felt like it). Since I had another copy I felt comfortable squishing it down onto the scanner bed more than usual...but I still couldn't bend it (or take it apart) to get really good scans. :P

I like it because a) the art is pretty and b) there isn't enough stuff based on the Heian AU game. I love the details of the clothing and scenery, and the characters' expressions.

The doujinshi is called Kai (at least I think so...the character is "imashimeru," to admonish or warn, but I went with the on-yomi in this case) by the circle Rakuengun. I got lazy over the translation and didn't do a lot of the sfx. Any suggestions for English equivalents would be appreciated.

Akira: ...Hopefully it did
Hikaru: Kamo?

Akira: There's still some youki left
Akira: Konoe, the holy sword
sfx: kacha (clack)
Hikaru: Holy sword?




sfx: ton
Hikaru/Sai: Huh?
sfx: zu zu zu
Hikaru: Wah!
Hikaru: Wah!
Hikaru: Waaah!
sfx: fu
Hikaru/Sai: It went in!
Hikaru/Sai; The sword went into his/my hand!
Uwaaa~~




Akira: It doesn't hurt, right?
sfx: shire
sfx: uga--
Hikaru: That isn't the problem!! (A sword went into my hand!!) What did you do!?
Akira: I sealed the holy sword into your right hand just to be sure
Akira: As long as the youki from that attack remains, we can't say it's definitely safe
Akira: I've told you before
Akira: The holy sword manifests its strength only when it obeys its owner
Akira: Use it if something happens. You can at least repel the enemy even like that.
Sai (small): I see...
Hikaru (small): But a sword?
Akira: Let's go back




Hikaru: I just can't understand the things onmyouji do...
