It is three in the morning and I just can't sleep. I had ordered some novels from amazon japan the other week to take with me on a trip (you know, to pass the time waiting at the airport, in the plane, etc.) and they came today. I had no will power whatsoever (well, I did manage to hold out for...half an hour or so) and started reading. OMG OMG OMG. Konohara-sensei, I want to curse you out and worship you at the same time. This time I read a two volume story that was...hard to categorize. The actual story didn't do much for me, but two of the side stories just hit me HARD in the gut. The second one made me tear up. And now my mind is going in circles thinking about what it means to be adult and responsible, and the consequences of a person's actions AND non-actions. How kindness can be horribly horribly (unintendedly) cruel like nothing else can be...

While under normal circumstances I adore how Konohara-sensei writes stories that make me think (which is frighteningly rare for the genre), I can't appreciate it so much when I face the prospect of work with only two hours of sleep. *sighs*

And *lol*... I could read the title (why did you use katakana? For emphasis (like we would use bold or italic) or is that really a word from another language?).

Sorry, it was three in the morning and I was giddy and/or delirious. I promise I'll be more forthcoming at a later point. ^^;

Katakana is used for emphasis or to show some kind of akwardness (like writing entire sentences in katakana to show non-native Japanese speaking or some altered state of mind...). In this case it was for emphasis.

Yep yep, wat is the title? I'm curious and I love Konohara-sensei's work as well~
I've read her Cold Series and Rose Garden(havn't finished) and haven't read Don't Worry Mama yet(will read after I finish Rose Garden~

I personally think that Cold Series is low on smut(well, esp 1st volume, but mostly I don't like novels tat jz hav mindless sex, no point~ -_-" I'd rather read shounen-ai novels) but the story is jz so cute(cake^^) and I love how the 2 main chars interact with each other~ When I started reading it I've to read the whole volume than can finally stop ^^;;

As for Rose Garden, I only read the 1st part of book and stopped when the half demon started to story telling the kid of his past with the angel~ Hate the angel >.> but there must be something tat makes the angel hate him so I can't put conclusions now...hav to finish the story 1st~

The books were "Ori no naka" and "Ori no soto." I haven't read either series you mentioned yet, but I hope to soon. I'd much rather read NO sex than endless, mindless sex. I like the low amount of graphic sex in Konohara-sensei's works, personally. ^^;

Ooo, I know those~ I hope to read those oso~ I heard it's bout 2 prisioners living in jail~ Heard it's very good~

Yes, I like the way she focus on the plot so well(the 1st book of Cold series have nil smut at all, only a drunkard kiss)~ Most of the Yaoi novel books have too much smut scenes which makes less pages for plot advancements~ but personally I love affectionate gestures like hugging, holding hands or some other cute cute things, it brings a smile to my face =)

And the Cold Series suit tat kind of taste, it's cute(and oso I love the illust), a little depressing and sometimes angsty which makes me cry abit at times but mostly they are quite cute(I have to say cake again^^) together^^~

Even though I don't really like the weak personality of one of the main char(Fujishima) in the past but I came to like him in the present~

^^;; I'll stop b4 I spoil the story anymore but I recommend the Cold Series and also Rose Garden(it's the only 2 I've read but I love the story, any story tat get me mesmerized and forget the time is^^)
