really lame cry for attention

I feel a bit dirty linking to the post, but some guy who rants on about NaNoWriMo in (what I think is) an attempt to be funny and nasty but mostly shines a light onto the fact that he is an asshat. Also, if he is a good writer this post doesn't show it. Wow, talk about crappily written. I don't understand why people are bothering to engage him seriously because he obviously wrote it to be a major jerk. In any case, I'm mentioning it because one of the deleted comments is hilarious.

Thanks for your perspective. Though I am a complete outsider to writing, I figured the guy made some good points. Unfortunately he was such an immature jerk so that was what struck me the most about his post. Most of the people I know who participate in NaNoWriMo do it as a challenge and don't take themselves or it too seriously, so I've never been exposed to the pretentious idiots that I gather are out there in great numbers (thank goodness).
