for those who celebrate it

Happy Thanksgiving!
Though...Looks like this year I won't be celebrating it. I actually thought about making some turkey and stuffing and gravy, but common sense kicked in and I gave up on that crazy idea. Instead, I'll laze about and enjoy my day off. And be thankful for what I do have (which does not include decent cooking skills, sadly).
Or maybe I'll go all out and make eggs and bacon for breakfast. Bought some low-sodium bacon yesterday. I usually don't bother (even though I love bacon dearly) because I don't make bacon that often and it goes rancid quickly (even in the freezer). Wish I had some (good) balsamic vinegar, because spinach salad with balsamic vinegar and bacon is just so yummy and I really need to use up some spinach before it goes bad.
