Reading this has made me want to watch the first of the Eva movie tetralogy right now. The special edition DVD comes out next month...

It's amazing how one unexpected large outlay of cash makes me want to spend even more money...I'm currently staring at the Yahoo Japan auction search results debating whether to bid like mad. *sighs*

Want to eat: Roast Chicken With Shallots, Thyme, Bacon and Garlic Confit Sauce
Doesn't sound too hard, but with my rather bad cooking skills I fear at the results should I try. ;_;

I'm not sure how many Eva movies are out there but I watched the anime series and 2 movies(I think) that I borrow from my friend(need to hack my dvd player since it's not in the right region) It struck me as kind of boring so I don't remember much.

I also remember my most embarrassed moment watching because that time, the hacking was done by my brother so after that he watched it with me which, that movie started off before long, Shinji was masturbating himself(didn't really show but we get the picture ^^;;) before Asuka's naked body(I was like OMG, I watched this with my brother O.o) Well, he didn't say much but he give a comment of something like not suitable for kids(not really referring to me! XDD) or something I don't really remember. I don't even know got a lot of X rated stuff inside. My friend(guy) should have warned me Y_Y

I never did get around to watching the movies...And when I heard about some of what happens in them I decided I really didn't need to. XD

I'm looking forward to the new eva movies too. I loved the series and thought EoE a real mind trip but at the same time I thought it could have been handled better; better pacing, more time for Kaworu's character, either show us that Asuka really is a prodigy or don't make her one, less monster of the week, and more interesting angels. From this review and others it looks like the new movies might deliver this.

I like that the movies seemed to have tightened things up and made it more intense. Rewatching the TV show can be irritating now because the pace is...uneven. I'm trying not to hope for too much, but I have more faith now than I originally did. More Kaworu definitely can't hurt, either.
