insanenekoUgh. Too much to do, not enough time or energy to do it all. I've been struck by sleeping problems, probably in response to all the city noises around here. Sometimes I feel like I'm going through the days in a daze, I've been having such bad sleep. I need weekends that consist of me laying about and reading crappy BL novels all day...not full of packing and hauling...
In any case, I felt like doing some drive-by posting...
For anyone who remembers Transformers--an amazing parody video that turns the manly robots into teenaged girls. Love the hot pants bit. XD
Read about a new bar opening up here (and later in Las Vegas) called minus 5° in the newspaper. It's originally from New Zealand and features a subzero environment where you are issued a parka and everything (furniture, etc) is made of ice. According to the article it will cost $30 for a 30-minute "experience" that includes one drink. My initial reaction was "WTF? What a waste of money!" I think I can do better with $30...But it must work since it's been around for several years (in more than one location).
Am I the only person in America sick of hearing/seeing the name "Brett Favre?" I didn't even know who the hell the guy was until this whole retiring-oops-not-retiring-getting-traded business came up. May he find joy with the Jets...personally, I'd rather he'd find obscurity so I don't have to hear about him anymore. It's not as bad as the Britney Spears mania a while back (you couldn't avoid all the "news" about her for a while), but damn it's annoying. (I also can't spell Britney--I initially spelled her first name "Brittany" and had to stare at it for a while to figure out what was wrong. XD)
Now I need to go to sleep so that I can pack some more tomorrow. Then go to work. *sighs*
