[Poll #1248891]

Please explain if you chose "depends."

I want to know if I'm a freak for hating on too much parsley in a dish. I like a little, but it really needs to be garnish or else that nasty parsley taste just kills me.

I like it when it is minced in very tiny pieces. Raw or from the species bottle. But it needs to be small, because I don-t really like to have that much of the parsley taste either. With mushrooms I use a lot, though. Sometimes too much, by accident, And then it feels wrong.

first question, depends - because I don't love it so I don't eat big hand fulls, but I'm not against it either om a dish. It actually doesn't taste like anything to me. Though I like herbs. I can eat cilantro plain.

The first is a resounding yes because I love tabbouleh.

The second is depends because most potato salads I'm familar with don't have it. I'm sure there's recipes/variations out there that do, I just haven't run across them.

I guess it really depends on whether it's meant to be an only an accent or a focal point.

I strongly second that... I'm crazy about tabbouleh (but have to restrain the amount of it I eat as its sodium content is usually too high).

For the rest... I don't really have a problem with parsley although I do not buy it.

I'd eat it if I was starving. *shot*

I'm not sure if parsley is the one I eat because in Asia there are quite a lot of herbs that Westerners eat isn't eaten here. But it looks like the one I don't like. I don't like the taste even if it's a little but I will eat it. I'm really not a choosy eater and will almost eat anything I can put in my mouth. Even the food I prepared. (And my food has to be the most horrible stuff anyone can eat, really, even my roomate look at it in disgust because it's a lot of things thrown in together that doesn't goes well together-) But I like the minty herbs. I had no idea what is garnish too.

I remember when I was a kid I hated parsley ^^; dont know since when I've taken a liking to it *shrug* It's "depends" for no.1 'cause I consider parsley as herb, and since it's a herb, I like them subtly added to the dish, however I love them accompanied richly to dried tomatoes pasta. Just mix them with spring onion, garlic and olive oil and you'll have a perfect "furiki" for the pasta. "hell yes" for no. 2! potatoes and parsley are married, just like pancake and maple syrop :) you need to cut it fin though. Do you know that aneth is also good for potatoes puree? not really maried but can be lover from time to time when parsley is not arround XD
