anime is so not for me

insanenekoI tried watching the first episode of Kuroshitsuji....And found myself annoyed by the pacing. I think I'll stick to manga from now on. I don't understand why I can be totally okay with the cd drama but bored with the anime. :P
The opening credits made me cringe, actually. The shots of Sebastian were nice, but otherwise? They tried to do gothic and just looked lame.
I seriously need to get the new volume of the manga. *sighs* I'm always behind.
ETA: Ack! How could I not have a "kuroshitsuji" tag? I've made one now, but I'm too lazy to go back and tag my old posts on it...
