In one of my fits of boredom yesterday I downloaded the Junjou Terrorist episode from the second season. Saw the beginning and saw the end...And was very confused. I didn't remember the scene! I later reread the manga (minus the Egoist parts. I'd forgotten just how much of the manga is Egoist! I need to get over my dislike of the uke--Hiroki, was it?--since it means skipping A LOT of the manga ;_;) and realized just how much they've censored in the anime. I'd heard complaints about it, but oh my! No sex at all? That's just not Junjou Romantica!!

I don't remember if I'd written about the manga volume 11 and don't want to bother going back to check, so I'll just blather a bit (again?). Oh man, the Terrorist bit in this volume was adorable! I love Shinobu smacking the pumpkin against the counter in a futile attempt to "cook," him getting jealous over his sister's homemaking abilities, how he asks for sex (so cute!), and the very end. They are a fun couple. As for Romantica, I love the panel where Usagi tells Misaki to monopolize him after Misaki's fit of jealousy and possessiveness. (Wish I had a working scanner to scan that page...Oh well.) I love how Usami is so straightforward with his feelings...I hope Misaki can grow up just a bit more to be able to reciprocate fully and openly. I wonder how Takahiro will react to the inevitable revelation of Usagi and Misaki's relationship?

Wow, you don't like Hiroki? I haven't heard that before. More like Egoist is the most favorite of a big majority. It's my 2nd favourite story after Romantica.

Yes, they cut out the sex scenes in Terrorist. They were like cramping 2 or 3 chapters in one episode too. I think the anime has it's good points. Some of the crack scenes I always like being animated makes me laugh some more. Like Usagi hitting the wall and act all high and mighty: Why? Because I like it!

And actually I didn't like Terrorist that much when I read the manga last time, just think it's ok. Maybe because the seme's attitude bugs me. But I came to like them more when I watch the anime. Shinobu's sniffle cry is win!

Takahiro is such a weirdo I can't even guess how he's going to react. Will he turn into protective older brother and try to separate the two? Or will he realize they really care for each other and give them permission? I think it'll depend also on whether Misaki is honest and doesn't act too embarrassed.

Yeah, I don't like Hiroki. He was too angsty and tsundere and I got fed up with him. I thought Nowaki was amusing, but he wasn't enough to counteract Hiroki for me. :P

I like Terrorist because Shinobu is adorable to me. He's so pure-hearted yet so snarky.

I've watched very little of the anime, but the best parts I've seen were the crack. It's just weird that they cut the sex out entirely--just from Terrorist or from the other ones too? Maybe they were freaked out by the "robbing the cradle" aspect of their relationship?

Oh no, most of them still have sex ---at least the start of it. I think they're good at making the starts/foreplay detailed and nose bleeding. There's 2 scene in season 2(later episodes, Romantica story but I forget which one) which is soo sexy imo. One is the one that Usagi got hurt and ask Misaki to suck his fingers(totally >w< ), another scene is Usagi hug from the back one(also totally nose-bleeding). The anime really did a lot of these oh-not-so explicit but really really make you feel: OMG so echhi. That's why I don't really mind they cut out the rest of sex part, after all, the focus is the story.

But they totally skip Terrorist sex scene which is a bit sad. Might be because they cramped 2 chapters in one episode and no time to insert that.

I think Takahiro will reject, he is still, a normal guy and couldn't in his world imagine these kind of stuff happen. Maybe later he saw how serious they are and change his mind. That's the normal speculation but who knows Misaki worry so much that in the end, he just accepts with a smile, that would be so funny haha.

ahahaha XD that's just like me, only with another pair. i tend to skip all the Romantica chapters and head straight to the Egoist and Terrorist chapters. same with the anime episodes too XDDD

Actually I am amazed myself that how I dislike the Egoist couple. Well the uke is really sweet sometimes but I dislike him for exact reasons you do, to the point I even dislike his seme for being so devoted to him, I mean his devotion makes me dizzy ^^;;

I like Romantica the best for both Usagi and Misaki, I can't even explain why I can tolerate Misaki's tsundere-ness while dislike Hiroki for it, tell me!

I don't care much about Miyagi, actually I came to like him more with the story going on, but Shinobu is absolutly adorable! chop chop chop hehe ^___^

I need to catch up on the anime!! I have only seen 2 episodes so far T_T

I know why I like Misaki and don't like Hiroki. Hiroki started out angsty and tsundere, and stubbornly refused to be happy for quite a while. Misaki tends to be happy by default. I just can't care enough about Egoist to dislike Nowaki. I think of him as a big puppy. ^^;

I like Miyagi because he seemed pretty complex compared to the other seme. Usagi is just weird and Nowaki is uber-devoted, but Miyagi seems like a snarky but relatively normal guy with hang-ups. Of course, his issues could not stand in the face of Shinobu's attack!

You're right, Misaki is always optimistic, and I like young Hiroki in Junjou minimum much better, he was cute and weird and so different then, it feels almost unlogical for him to developpe into someone so angsty and insecure. As for Nowaki, he is the person I'm less interested in the whole Junjou saga, big puppy isn't my type. have you finally seen the anime? I need to catch up. Somehow BL anime deceive me, the only good one well adapted is Loveless, but is it even a BL? *sigh* Have you heard Sex Pistol ANDDD Maiden Rose are being made into OVA? wow, fangirls become spoiled little by little yay fangirls! ^_^
