thank goodness this week is over!

The week from hell is over. Hallelujah. May I not have another one for a long, long time (if only).
As I was checking out a PoT fan site for the sequel to long and angsty fic, I looked at the links section and came across two very nice Death Note fanart sites, both L/Raito: Chandelica and Zero/0. The latter also has FMA Havoc/Roy. I only looked at one pic but it was cute and amusing. Though neither are big fandoms for me (frankly I dislike Death Note for all that it's a good manga, but I adore the artist), I don't mind looking at nice fanart. ^_^

oiyaoi's blog (if only I could read Portuguese...but I still check it out because it's pretty and has lots of cool links--like this one) and saw that they have scanlated Time Lag, a manga drawn by Odagiri Hotaru (she also drew Only the Ring Finger Knows). I don't own this manga, but I've borrowed it numerous times from my friend and this is one of those mangas I love to read from time to time. Like candy, it's a burst of sweetness. :D And I love the art.
The site also has Kawaii Hito by one of my favorite artists, Yamakami Riyu. For some reason I didn't pick up this manga yet (though I own virtually everything by her), so I downloaded it. The translation has a lot to be desired, but I enjoyed this story. I must remember to buy it next time. I love the seme's complete obliviousness about how other people see him and his very casual attitude about everything. I was amused by how he's so blase about women because they basically throw themselves at him, but when he's confronted by a boy who unfathomably hates him he is intrigued. He starts talking about the boy all the time to his friend, who realizes LONG before him what his feelings are. The moment he realizes them he runs over to the boy's class and yells out a confession. That made me laugh. It has a lot of BL cliches but I can't help it, Yamakami-sensei's charas are so cute I can forgive them the sin.

Date: 2004-12-19 07:14 am (UTC)It was too much. I had to know the truth @_@
I looked for raws everywhere, but couldn't find any. Then I downloaded the Drama CD and listened to all the tracks in bliss :D
So cool.
