I've been coming across eggplant hate lately. Whenever people pick a vegetable as an example of something they dislike, eggplant shows up a lot. I adore eggplants, and don't understand the specific hate. So please tell me...

Eggplants are very tasty. My hate is reserved for okra and brussel sprouts. But I do try both every couple of years to see if my taste buds have changed their minds as they have on a number of other fruits and veggies.

I join you on the brussel sprout hate. I've only had it the way my mom made it, so I'm holding out hope that I'll come across some way of making brussel sprouts that I actually like...Seems unlikely, though.
