Can I say I love this episode? A lot? Ritsu gets to make lots of great faces, like the one above. There's humor, there's romance, there's sweetness, there's Ritsu being indenial and dorky.





Oh no, they emerge from their rooms at the same time! Ritsu, you need to up your avoidance-fu and learn to listen for any sign of Takano leaving before committing to leaving yourself.




Takano, you are a bad, bad man. Why do you tease poor nice ladies in your building?




Lady, don't let Takano's pretty face fool you! He's a naughty boy!

Ritsu's expression is classic, of course.




Oh, Ritsu, haven't you learned that scolding Takano has absolutely no effect?




In fact, he'll just say something that'll make you look like this.




I really want to see Ritsu's mom. I figure she can't be a truly scary woman since she managed to raise Ritsu to be so sweet and innocent until he was forever scarred by the misunderstanding with Takano.

Ritsu and An seem to have a nice childhood friendship. They probably would've made a nice couple had Ritsu not fallen for Takano's pretty face.




I laugh at how hard Ritsu tries to dispel the idea that An is his girlfriend. You doth protest too much, my boy.




It's amazing just how much the rest of the department can be incredibly unhelpful at times.




I KEEL YOU ALL! <--What Ritsu is really thinking underneath the "I want to quit this company!"




SO FUNNY. I love sparkles, they are so pretty.




Yes, Ritsu, you must run away now. Look at those artists, all under the spell of Takano & co.




I can't help but remember how creepy Ijuuin is in Junjou Romantica when I see him sparkle like this. Also, when he was all FACEHAIR and raging when we first meet him.




Ritsu, you should've run for it when you had your chance!




Those artists are like hyenas!




And Takano won't save you!




Ritsu is an amazingly awful drunk. Does he know that about himself?




Takano is so much taller than everyone else, no?




Takano saves Ritsu from the horrors of the spilled drink!




And keeps his arm wrapped around Ritsu.




Poor Ritsu, why do you have to run into the guy who has it out for you?

It's interesting how he doesn't immediately get super defensive or on the attack when it comes to work-related stuff with Yokozawa. Poor thing. *pats*

I can't imagine how exhausting it must be to deal with so many people after a full day at work.




...Only to have to have a deeply embarrassing conversation with your childhood friend.

Takano, you look soooo cool in this shot. Also, good call on keeping Ritsu from pursuing An.




I love this blush a lot.




My question about this is....so did Takano take his car to work in the morning, or did he actually bother to go home after work and get his car to go to the hotel? It seems so much extra bother since he normally doesn't drive to work. Also, Ritsu's uncomfortable expression is adorable.




Ritsu is no match for his mom. *grins*




Ritsu's attempts to push Takano away are so pathetic it's mind-boggling. He gets flustered all the time, even dropping his keys at this point! Is he self-aware enough to realize how bad he is at handling this? Probably not, as he's obviously overwhelmed most of the time. :P




Kiss against the door! The line between classic and cliched is thin, and I don't know which side of the line this move would fall on, but I can't deny that I loved it.




Another classic move! Love it.




Nice Takano close-up.




The only bad thing about this manga is that these characters dress so casually. The removing-the-tie-before-sex move is one of my favorites, and this is probably the only time I'm gonna see it.




More clothing removal! Wish they were more frantic, but when seen through still shots the scene looks good.

So sweet! Takano looks like he's treasuring Ritsu here.




Wish more clothes were off at this point, but I like the arrangement of the bodies, especially the arms.




Look! An obvious morning after scene! I love Grumpy Ritsu.




And how quickly he turns into embarrassed, trying-to-make-excuses Ritsu when Takano points out the messiness of his room.

I love how Takano is so casual but then suddenly turns all romantic right before they part.




My fangirl heart melted when he said he's happy looking like that. It's so subdued but so heartfelt.




And par for the course, he can't leave things completely romantic and sweet. What does Ritsu tell the poor lady?
