Yahoo Japan Auctions is an evil, evil entity (that I'm not sure how to shorten...YJA? Y!JA? Just Y!J?)...I decided (against all logic and desire to be fiscally responsible) to go check it out...to discover that another set of the entire set of a Hikago doujinshi series I had lost the auction for several months ago is up for sale, and I am now trying to figure out how much my maximum bid should be...I'm scaring myself contemplating on how much I am contemplating on spending. I did look for that one doujinshi that got severely water damaged (I have it displayed so that I have to see it every day and be reminded of the consequences of treating books badly) but there was no single third volume on sale. No, I do not want to spend $60 to buy the entire set when I already own two of them, thank you very much. I hope I can find it in Japan because I hate incompleteness (damn, I'm inconsistent. I have so many manga series that are incomplete just because I've been too lazy to buy the rest....Ranma...3x3 Eyes...Shaman King...HxH....Inuyasha...KareKano...).
I only decided to go check out that evil place because I finally got around to paying several outstanding auction invoices (yes yes, I am late, I suck, I'm sure they hate me over there). It's a bit sad that when I checked my list of pending auction items, I saw two items I had forgotten I had bid on and won, even though I had paid for them. :P I requested shipment, so they should be coming in a week or so...and since I've never read any of these before it'll be all new stuff. :D Yay! Four new Hikago DJs! I just won't think about how much I spent on them. >_<
While I am totally jealous of the people who have subscriptions to things like the Beboy magazines, at the same time I know that I don't want to do the subscribe to magazine thing again...I have over two years worth of Jumps in my house that I don't know what I'm going to do with because I have an unnatural attachment to all things paper and can't just throw them away...I still have about several years of Hana to Yume from a while back when I was addicted to Angel Sanctuary. They take up closet space. *sigh*
Hm, when I think about it, I have that one-shot of Yami no Matsuei in one of my Hana to Yumes. I remember, when I first read it, thinking the art was nice, somewhat interesting characters and somewhat promising premise, never heard of the artist, too bad it's only a one-shot, then being really glad when it became serialized. ^_^; Look how far it's come now...Damn, those are pretty old issues. Heh, I've been a manga fan for too long, perhaps...
I know this is more rambling than usual ramblage, but I'm fighting a desperate (and probably losing) battle to not fall asleep at my desk...

There's one volume published (scanlated by Obsession) and it's still running in Be Boy Gold.
