My Tokyo Shopping Guide

Well, my enthusiasm for going to Japan manifested into a tokyo shopping guide. I even managed to update my really pathetic site while I was at it. :D
I would appreciate any suggestions (regarding the format, the content, the grammar...whatever), as it is definitely a work in progress. I did this in a fit of madness today, looking up shops from memory, and thought about sitting on it and fixing it before posting it...but I know if I do that it would have never seen the light of day. ^_^;

Date: 2005-01-20 12:19 pm (UTC)Thanks SO much *bounce*....I am just stunned at the prices of djs over there. I am SO going to lose my wee little mind. *uh-huh-uh-huh-uh-huh*
Question...I collect certain circles (K2 for example)....whould they be just mixed in with the mis stuff or are these things divided up by parody genre (POT, SAIYUKI) or are they by circle?

Date: 2005-01-20 10:09 pm (UTC)The price I quoted was for regular published novels...the doujinshis can range in price. I think the vast majority are 200 to 1000 yen, but thicker volumes and ones by very popular circles can get pretty pricy.
I'm trying to remember about organization, and from what I recall, most stores categorize everything by fandom, then by pairing (if they bother). Some places will separate out the popular circles of that fandom as well. In other stores, I believe I've seen completely separate sections for the very popular circles. You'll have to see when you go. The small stores will only bother with fandom separations, though.
Do you think that more detailed directions and/or maps would be more helpful? I know that some of the other guides have directions and/or maps, and I don't want to bother if people can get the info from other places. I only provided the maps the stores themselves, but most of them are in Japanese...and I think the more I try to explain the more I blather. :P If you can make sense of this paragraph, please give me your opinion.
