I have noticed that Keijijou na bokura by Kawai Touko is being posted on
yaoi_daily recently, so I finally checked mochi mochi and grabbed the newest chapters. Hmm...you know, I liked Bondz a lot more. I dunno, I think Shouin's extremely introverted personality got to me after a while. I like Houryuu, but I can only take so much pointless angst that comes directly from Shouin's personality. Yes, I know he has a past, but...I think I'll go reread Bondz again. Now I like the "healthy" relationship between those two--they know what they want and go after it enthusiastically. Except for that small misunderstanding, they were really in tune with each other. :D The bonus is that I have all the raws to read...I don't think I could stand to read my own translations for that one. :P
Also downloaded the most recent chapter of Rin!....I don't really know where this is going. Kind of feels like nowhere, but I still keep reading. ^_^; I almost wish there was a novel of this, because I think this story would work better that way...
I had forgotten Kannagi Satoru was the writer, though. I want more Only the Ring Finger Knows, damnit.
I did notice more G-sennjou no Neko up. I really like that artist..the art is so pretty in a...I can't think of the correct adjective, so I'll use a wrong one with the right feel...lyrical way. I really like the main character, too. But one problem I have with this is that there hasn't been a continuation of this...and it's been almost three years since it's been published!
I seem to be slowly getting sucked into a J-drama that plays on Thursdays here, Moto Kare (Ex-Boyfriend). The main draw initially was that Domoto Tsuyoshi, one half of Kinki Kids (I swear they win, hands down, for stupidest name for a group ever...every English speaker snickers at that name...). I like him in the roles he plays. What surprised me was how much I liked Hirosue Ryoko in this. I really disliked her and the roles she played when she first debuted...now she's matured and playing a character I can sympathize with. Uchiyama Rin's character annoys the shit out of me. Ugh. I swear, I don't understand what guys see in some of these girls. It's like that unfathomable popularity some anime females have...like Rei from Eva, Ruri from Nadesico, or Belldandy from Ah My Goddess...the first two are intriguing characters in the context of the narrative, but certainly not mega-ultra-popular idol material...and the third one is the most boring, domestic female ever...ugh...In any case, the ending song is sung by Kinki Kids and it is a really nice song...I want it....

Date: 2005-02-11 08:34 am (UTC)Bondz was much better. Or Cut if you like disfuction.
Where Rin! is going is...Sou trying to get some sexing out of Katsura. Rin seems to move slowly. The rest of this volume is the training camp and those issues. Next volume yet other random person is after Katsura. Ukes sure do attract molestors. But it is going somewhere...just slowly. ^-^

Date: 2005-02-11 04:14 pm (UTC)Rin! is so...slow...but I can sense it going somewhere (maybe I'm just a sucker but I trust the writer and artist...) so I keep reading...
I don't mind these molestor dudes, I just feel that at least at the point mochi mochi is at, Sou and Katsura just aren't having enough interaction and development. *sigh* At least they finally have sex at some point...
