Well, I seem to be doing this completely out of order. ^_^ I'll eventually do the entire manga, just...at my own pace and in my own order. I already have done chapter 04.

"I haven't met a living JAM. I've only seen their fighters. I've never seen one even once, though I've fought them so much. It's ridiculous."
"Then we might not realize it if we meet one on the Banshee."
"You want to meet one?"

"Feeling like your going sightseeing?"

"Go! Quickly! Your Yukikaze will get shot as well!"
"Shut up. I'll take you back."

"The Banshee is hopeless already. It's been taken over by JAM."

I like this chapter a lot...more than the anime version, actually. I found this episode in the OVA rather weak, so I was glad to be able to read this subtle story with so much unsaid...it fit my Yukikaze image a lot better. And I liked Tomahawk John a lot better in this...

It's more spare than the anime BUT it's the same mangaka who created the anime character designs.

I'm not too HTML savvy, so I've shied away from changing my LJ layout. Now I'm tempted... Only thing is, I don't know if I'd make it MoB or Yukikaze. I've lost my heart to both.

I don't create my layout. I only used one of the paid account LJ layout and put colors & a bookmark (like right now Miki, it was J&R then) to make it my "Yukikaze" layout... it was also burgundy red/olive green/beige while now it's more navy blue/grey/pearl grey.

I like the anime art better, but I think the manga has a lot to offer in other areas. In some cases I like the plotline of the manga better, and it offers glimpses into characters' backgrounds that you can't get from the anime.

Exactly. I cared about Tomahawk John more after reading the manga, actually. And I like the sparse feel of the manga, too.
