Well, I watched up to episode 4 of Trinity Blood and I'm just totally confused. I certainly hope the manga and/or novels make more sense. I swear, the anime jumps from one story to another, and even within a story it feels like vast amounts of stuff has been flung aside in the making of the anime.

On a less confused note, read Wild Rock (thank you [livejournal.com profile] mirichan!!). What a sweet (and straightforward) story! LOVED the stuff with the fathers. XD The drama CD is great, too. I had to laugh at hearing Yamaguchi Kappei as one of the fathers (he will eternally be Ranma/Inuyasha to me) but he was so right for the role. The fathers' story is so sad. ;_; But, Miki and Morikawa voice a great pair of father and son. They are so hot looking, but real softies inside. ^_^ One big reason I love BL so much is that you can have semes saying things like "Ore no mono ni shitai, ore no mono ni nare." *^_^*

Damn, Shinsen has started subbing PoT. That leaves me with the dilemma of figuring out if I should go with the Shinsen version or wait the several years it'll probably take A-O to finish theirs. I am terribly anal about sticking with one fansubber if at all possible and I've already watched the raws, so I'm leaning towards waiting...but I'd really like to free up some HD space by burning the damn series off already. *sighs*

Speaking of fansubbers, any recs on a fansubber for Sousei no Aquarian? I should probably start downloading the episodes before I get too far behind and give up in the face of the backlog.

As a random aside, I totally and completely and utterly deny Fuuma x Kakyou. I also want to deny work tomorrow (on a holiday ;_;). If I disbelieve hard enough will it all go away?

No, you're absolutely right re: Trinity Blood anime. Gonzo is completely squishing the two novel timelines together and it's Really Not Working. -_-;

It's best to consider the anime/manga/novels as separate universes because they ALL vary considerably from one another. Trying to reconcile them to one time line is asking for a migraine. Now that you've seen up to ep 4, you can read my previous entries about some of the differences. *unsubtle hint* XD

Umm, can't really help you with Aquarion subbers since I've been watching it raw from ep 3 onwards. I still need to catch up on GSeed Destiny and Bleach, so it's below them on the list of priorities. ^_^;

Well, I got recs from other people so I'll go along with them. I just want someone that doesn't suck. ^_^

I am about to give up on watching the anime. It's too frustrating. I guess I'll give the novels a try. *sighs*

I download Aquarion from AOnE/A-Kingdom. They are the furthest along and in general do a good job. Usually get the torrents from http://www.tokyotosho.com, since Aone is always changing trackers for some reason. I've given up on Trinity Blood. Between Loveless, Emma and Honey and Clover (along with the other shows I watch) there is just no room for something so half assed...for lack of a better word. :p

I didn't like the main story of Wild Rock that much, but the rest (with the dads') was great. ^^

Thank you! I've downloaded their stuff. Haven't gotten around to watching the subs, tho.

I'm about to give up on the anime, but I've been hearing the novels are great...

I wasn't super impressed with the main story of Wild Rock either, but the art is nice so I can forgive it. AND the fathers' story just kicks ass.

I'm using AonE/A-Kingdom (http://www.gotwoot.net/) for Aquarion, although I think there are others. I also think that since there's a bit of a backlog (and it's pre-licensed and so not on AnimeSuki) it's possibly best to go with the more well-known subbers since there are likely to be more seeders.
