Pimpage: In the Walnut by Kawai Touko

I must must must pimp the newly released scanlation of a Kawai Touko manga, In the Walnut. I absolutely adore this manga. It is not smutty at all, unlike my favorite story by this manga artist, "Bondz". The word that comes to mind is...切ない. I suppose in English I'd say it's a bit sad, a bit touching, a bit sweet. I know, I'm not being not helpful in any way (summary, what summary?), but I can help by offering direct downloads. Read it!

I picked it up in Japan and just love the entire volume. *sighs* We need more BL manga like this...

I also have a request. Does anyone have the one-shot "Beautiful World" ( raw or scanlated by Peccatore Sanctuary) that appeared in the second volume of "Keijijyou na Bokura" and can share? (I guess I have to buy the stupid manga now. I dislike it quite a bit, but I need to get my fix of the characters from "In the walnut"...)

It's strange coming home to see it's been released already! Sorry, I wanted to send you the scans last night, but I thought I'll get it proof read first. It seems Zoey wanted to get it released asap. ^^;

I remember reading Beautiful World. ^__^ I like this one shot.

Thanks for Beautiful World! Damn, I definitely need to buy this manga now because the scanlation was a bit confusing for me. :P

Yeah, I would have liked to take a look at the translation as edited into the manga before release, as what seems to work on text doesn't when actually incorporated....

If you want to read Kawai's works, I recommend CUT (the best of her work, EVER) and Loveholic. :D
I have In the Walnut on bookshelves, but too lazy to read this time (actually, kinda tired to grab my kanji dictionary). So the scanlations has been out ? Gonna download it later.

I do like both CUT and Loveholic. Frankly, I like "in the walnut" and the one-shot "bondZ" a lot more...though now I have an urge to go read Loveholic...

...Um, this is a bit random, but do you know what scanlation group did Bondz? ^^ I know I have seen it before but I cannot find it and I think I might just go crazy.

It wasn't done by a group per se. Basically Delfin provided scans and editing and I did the translations. It was posted on yaoi_daily first, and No Deadline provided additional distro.

Ahh, okay! Thanks! I knew I had seen it somewhere, but I was not for sure... Weird, I could have sworn I saw it before yaoi daily, but then I am losing my mind so my word does not count for much, ne? XD Thanks a bunch for the info!
