My damn computer is down, and my friends and I highly suspect it's hard drive failure. Again. Someone, please tell me how in the world a hard drive I've had for TWO MONTHS can fail? Damn Apple, did they replace my failed hard drive with a failing hard drive??

In any case, the jury is still out on the real cause, but whatever the cause of my problems I am computerless at home (I so shouldn't use my work computer to be checking and updating on LJ...I really shouldn't). It's kind of depressing how much of my life revolves around the computer. My house feels...empty, somehow. Been trying to make up for it by reading stuff, and I even bought the first 12 volumes of Black Cat used because I read the funniest random reaction to the first Black Cat anime episode from a total Creed fan and when I feel shitty I shop and it was cheap but everytime I want to quickly check something online or whatever and I realize no I can't do that it just sucks. >_<

One good thing is that I went through my Hikago doujinshi piles and discovered a PoT one I've been searching for mixed in there. Angst is rabu.

BTW, your hard drives? It might well be a power supply problem, aka maybe there are electric surges in your installation and it fries the hard drive... electricity trouble can be a cause.

It reminds me of last fall when I was getting all those problems with my PC. Cost me an arm and a leg to get rid of the problem but we never did find what caused it.

If it is my hard drive, its covered by my extended warranty. I just wish I had a computer at home. I am so in withdrawl. :P

*laughs* Thanks for the link! I don't think a lot of people realised the anime was initially going to be different than the manga. :P It took a while for me to get used to the beginning as well, but I still think Train looks way too young in the anime. ^^;

On the other hand, Creed scares me. I thought he was great in the manga, but now I get the shivers whenever he starts stalking after Train. It must be Miki's voice. ^___^

You're welcome! I totally didn't know it was going to be different. I had forgotten enough to not immediately see the differences, but having read some of the manga now...I wonder why they changed things?

I have no faith in Gonzo's adaptations and the chara designs scare me, but my main hope is that it'll inspire the next-to-nonexistent BlackCat Jfandom to write Train/Creed fic, cos it was sadly lacking last I went looking (hell, fic was lacking, period). ;__;
