Yes, one more post for the day. I must have been starving to fangirl and LJ (is LJ-ing a verb?) because I've just exploded with posts. :P Had quite a bit of fun just vegging in front of the computer like it was a normal Saturday...

[livejournal.com profile] teletha mentioned the Gravitation songs by Seki Tomokazu posted at [livejournal.com profile] seiyuu, so I downloaded them and they were all very nice! After one listen to them all, I think I like "Break Through" the most right now.

There was a post of Seki Tomokazu on Seiyuu Wonderland...it was cool seeing him talking seriously about serious things, and seeing clips from Gravitation (I've only seen one episode of the anime), as well as from his stage performances. ^_^

Also noted image songs from G Gundam posted, and since I love that show for its utter cheesiness I had to give them a try...and "GET THE WIN" did not disappoint--it is such a classic (and of course cheesy) "I AM THE HERO!" song...I love the stirring "RET'S GET ZA WIN!!!" part. XD The cheesy hero theme continues in "Sentou Danji"...

And I then got tired of downloading and listening from the large amount available so I stopped there. :P If there are any recs I'd be happy to hear them...

In any case, since I'm a sucker for camp, I downloaded the entire Ghei Buttsex FST and listened to all the tracks in order. OMFG...the soundtrack is disturbing but so perfect! I can't begin to imagine where the creator got all the songs...I mean, real (and catchy) songs with titles like "How do you fuck a boy (without a pussy)?" and "Don't Mess with Orgasmatron" and "Dream Boi Cream Boi"!!!!

And now I must sleep because it's past midnight and I'm amazed I haven't turned into a pumpking yet. :P

I think I fangirled myself out yesterday with all those posts...though I was very very busy today so that might be part of it. I did want to mention a couple of things though...

Mochi mochi released their translation of the first chapter of Soshite Koi ga Hajimaru by Tsukimura Kei. I compared the first three pages line by line with the Japanese. Overall, pretty good translation (though I did find a couple of places that were wrong). I think the grammar is slightly stiffer than the original, but it still flows pretty well. I do love this book quite a bit, so I hope they continue to do a good job on it. ^_^

I hope there is a big response to mochi mochi's effort so that companies can take note and maybe get a little closer to actually doing official translations of some of these novels. While, like manga, there's a lot of crap out there, there are some really good (or just really sweet) novels out there that actually wouldn't be too hard to do (unlike something like the 40 volume Mirage series...^_^;).

Names by Arccie is a cute, silly and short TezuRyo fic in English! I see this kind of dynamic between the two in Japanese fics, but never in English so it was nice to read. :D
