silly waste of brain power

One of the lot of doujinshi I won at auction turned out to be a short phone sex story. At least, I think it is. I refuse to read it, because the thought of TezuRyo phone sex is just…wrong. Those two talk as little as possible, and seem to be more physical and eye contact than verbal in their interactions (except for saying "Echizen" or "Ryoma" and "Bucho" A LOT--is it phone sex if they wank off and call each others names while doing that? And that's all?). The title of the doujinshi is “Love each other on the phone.” Tell me that isn’t a phone sex story and I’ll laugh in your face. In any case, I idly thought that I could easily imagine FujiRyo phone sex. For that matter, Fuji could probably get Tezuka to do it (because I firmly believe Fuji is devious and persuasive enough to do it). Then I thought of other Tezuka pairings and whether there was any possibility of phone sex there. At first I didn’t think Atobe and Tezuka would, because Atobe would either go to where Tezuka was or make Tezuka come to him (by private jet, if necessary) for real sex. But then I thought Atobe would get a trip on getting Tezuka off by just his voice…you know, the whole be intoxicated by my gorgeous voice thing. XD Then I tried to think of other non-crack pairings, and hit Tezuka and Oishi. And died laughing. I can’t begin to imagine Oishi doing anything like that without some kind of major persuasion, and Tezuka is completely unsuitable. I also tried to figure out if Tezuka and Inui would…and couldn’t decide. I guess if Inui decided to see if he could draw Tezuka into such a phone call (like as an experiment, to see if he could push the right buttons) it might work…

And then, I couldn’t think of other non-crack pairings so I stopped that stupid line of speculation there.

Yes, yet another TezuRyo doujinshi I had scanned in and translated (in a fit of giddiness from having finished up "Catch and Release?"). This is another serious one, set two years later than in canon. I like the feel of this manga, as well as the roughness of the artwork. I like the sentiments expressed, even if I'm not 100% sure it's IC. I've been meaning to tweak the translation some more, but I have a feeling it's just going to sit on my hard drive for ages so...with my usual disclaimers about the scans and translation, the scans can be downloaded here.
