been a while
Dec. 9th, 2005 12:04 pmI had just picked up the official release of the Mirage OVA, so I put it on as background to keep me company as I wrapped presents...though it turned into BGM while I looked for tape to wrap presents, then BGM as I typed up some stuff on the computer after giving up finding tape. :P It's probably been over a year since I've watched the anime, and it reminded me how much I adore Seki Toshihiko and Hayami Shou's voices in those roles. Now I want to watch the TV series again...maybe even reread the novels. Of course, I'd have to find the two volumes that I'm currently missing first.
One of my favorite things about seeing Mirage animated has to be the battle scenes (or the scenes where they use their powers). It's all so exciting! Now I want to see various other scenes animated, like when Takaya makes the volcano erupt, or the battles with the Red Whales, or when Takaya loses it when Naoe dies...I wonder if they did animate that far, if they'd have a different VA for that guy Naoe takes over after being resurrected imitate Hayami's voicing, or would they just use Hayami? And would Koutarou's VA imitate Hayami when he's pretending to be Naoe? Hayami does that languid yet precise and competent thing so well. As well as the intense, frustrated and very sensual thing. XDXD
